I would like to make up a pair of Roscoe lubricators and although I have quite a bit of diagramatic information, and a few photos (from the SECR-D class at NRM) , I've never run across any dimensioned drawings. I also assume they were made in different sizes but I've never found information to confirm that. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi Harry,
I presume you are thinking of the type that usually go on the side of the smokebox? I've found an article in ME vol 62 issue 1514 by Geo. Gentry which gives a fully dimensioned version that looks very much like the real thing. The overall height is about 2 inches but could no doubt be scaled for different sizes. If you think it may be of use I can email you a scan.

John, That sounds like just the ticket. There are regular gaps in my ME's before Vol 77 and naturally Vol 62 is one of them, so I'd be very thankful to have a scan, thank you very much. That and the illustrations and photos I have should do the trick.
