Quite so------and assuming it is what it appears to be then that's quite a good price overall I'd say.......Whether it's affordable though is down to the individual buyer....From 7.25" gauge and upwards we're talking HEAVY locos and LIGHT wallets ...........

I used to know the owner, but we lost touch some years ago.
He was a nice genuine guy, I understood this loco ran very well.

whilst externally the builder has made a fine job, it is still a winsons kit and the backhead pics disclose how basic and crude the design is. despite adding a few wagons etc i think the asking price is far far too high. i remember seeing the first 14XX winsons kits partly made and thinking what a load of .... when closely examined between the frames! cheers, julian

This is another example of poor photographic presentation, there is many aspects of the locomotive that could be photographed and used to sell it. The long shot photograph was small and the larger photographs did nothing to enhance its saleability. But it doesn't matter that he hasn't impressed me, wrong price and wrong country.

Yes, very poorly presented indeed........In the description you find that there is also }---- 5 ride-on wagons, wheels and frames for a Weltrol bogie wagon, then subject to payment by Bank transfer or Cheque, there is a Machine Mart hydraulic lift with track fitted, and a DAXARA trailer with tracks fitted as well............... ........................Just for the sake of calculation let's estimate each of those items at £200 apiece, then there's around £700 approx of extras not even shown.................... E-Bay give you 12 free photos to place as well........When all's said and done a Winsons'kit is still a pig in lipstick it would seem...
