Hawkeyes !!!!!------------- Indeed it is, young chap...It's a bit embarrassing really..A while ago I bought a rolling chassis off E-Bay with the intention of building a Polly..I saw your tender and bought that as it fitted in with my plans... Next thing I see is that red Polly complete, running and for sale here on the Forum at an affordable price.........so I bought it !!..Maybe with the two back-to-back we can have a sort of double Fairlie with the front being the steamer and the rear being battery powered..??

Your loco looks well on the way to being a runner. What is left to do with the running side of it?
The cold weather is playing merry hell with my leg. I went in the workshop on Sunday to get some tools to fiddle with the radiators and that is all since October when I fell and twisted the bloody thing.
Oh for some warmth!

sorry to hear about your leg...I recently trapped my left index finger in the car's bonnet support rod stowage clip = much Anglo Saxon words of endearment !!........I've actually driven the Polly and bought it knowing that the L/H valve setting had shifted a wee bit.... which is why it's on the bench with the L/H side nearest...Trouble with these kit engines is they use grub screws to locate most of the motion and these are not always easy to get at..... never mind, we soldier on.

OK, to-day was spent putting some lagging on Cadbury's main steam pipe ( This is the one that goes from the backhead regulator to the cylinder ).............I tried to put it all on in one go at first but it's too cramped and twisty a route for that to happen.......... After various ideas ( failed !!) I put the insulation on in short sections and used Superglue to join it all together !!-- RESULT but, how do I un-stick my fingers ??.............................I've also been tarting-up my loco carrier a bit..It needs a coat of varnish but shall do that indoors, just before I go to bed.. ( Nice and warm in the Kitchen )................................................................................................................. ........................................................................................................... ................................................................................................. ............................................................................................
