I'm visiting the show for the first time this year, it will be interesting to see what different models you have up North that never make it to our Southern shows. I'll be going on the Friday when it will hopefully be the quietest and it would be good to meet up with any of our members who don't make it down South.
By all means PM me if you're going on Friday and fancy a chat over a coffee.

My friend from New Zealand is coming over for Friday and Saturday.
He though it good to meet some of the You tubers we watch like Mr Chrispn or LMS. They have posted before previous Doncaster events.
Maybe I should post his photo and you might recognise him. He is from Derby originally so you won't catch him out with an Aussie or Kiwi accent.

Hayden I've just given a heads up to one of our guys who is also travelling over there at the moment. He wasn't aware of the show being on but he's now going to make a detour as he heads north. Pete

Hi Pete.
My friend also went last year but usually wanders around alone with camera to hand.
Never sure if like minded attendees want to meet up or do there own thing. Its a lot to see in two days, Friday being a bit quieter than the Saturday.

My friend and I go our separate ways and then pick up on things we've missed or particularly like.

I don't know the layout of the place, but I'll try to text everyone who's given me their number and confirm where to meet. It's been suggested to meet upstairs but I have no idea how big that is or if there's an obvious meeting place. I might post here if I remember so anyone else can come along when we know what we're doing. I'm coming from the deep South, but still hope to be there in good time. I'm really looking forward to meeting some of the characters who have helped and encouraged me over the past four years... yes, four years!

It was good to finally put faces to names, and hopefully nobody was left trying to find our little group huddled around a couple of tables hastily put together.
It's a pity we didn't have more one to one time, we'll have to do that another time.

A thoroughly good day was had and it was good to meet a few more of the forum members in person. Thanks to Roger for bringing along some of his Speedy bits to show us. I'll be there again tomorrow so please come over and say hello if you recognise me.
