Hi All
I am going to the Show at Leamington Spa this weekend, will be there on Saturday. Anyone else from this group going to be there that I could meet? I enjoy talking to everyone on here and I think it would be good to actually meet some of you if possible.
Please let me know, I will be with a group of guys, from Northern Irland, flying into Birmingham in the morning and we expect to arrive about 10.30(ish).
Cheers
Brian

All right brain, I don't like you and you don't like me - so let's just do this and I'll get back to killing you with beer.
I am planning on going on the Sunday.

Dear Mr Viffer,
You won't be pickling your grey matter at Leamington, there's no bar. (At least there wasn't last year.)
Waggy.

Hi t_v,will supply BEER,and chuck in a couple of spares ;D ;D Phil That is all right then. See you Sunday Oh no! What have I done? I smashed open my little boy's piggy bank, and for what? A few measly cents, not even enough to buy one beer. Wait a minute, lemme count and make sure...
not even close.

So the Viffer's out on licence. It is true that last year there was no bar but you could get the odd tinny from the refreshment bar upstairs. However I understand Phil Sutton is bringing in sufficent supplies so we can all head for him and admire the 14XX and maybe get a drink. Hope he's there on Sunday. Mott. PS Viffer - are you driving up in the black cab?

PS Viffer - are you driving up in the black cab? I'd forgotten the Colchester chaps were going on the Sunday Mott. Can Phil carry enough beer to slake their thirsts? Hope to see you there. I'll email you my mobile number. I'm not taking the cab for several reasons: first I only just managed to get a milling machine which some hooligans had dumped into it out of the cab, second the last time I drove it to Leamington Spa on a Christmas Eve the diff fell off, thirdly cruising speed is 40mph (although I'm planning on driving it to Beaujolais and back next month) and it take all day to get there let alone back, and of course the drinking/driving thing. Cheers!

Hi Steve, Denis and Albert
I will look out for you all tomorrow. Although I'm coming over from Ireland I am English, born in Sussex but exiled 15 years ago. I am a big bloke with a beard and going a bit thin on top, probably ought to wear a carnation or something for extra identification ;D I will be with four other guys who do have very strong Irish accents, so you might be able to pick me out!
However, since it will be my first exhibition attendance I am looking forward to the whole thing.
Cheers
Brian

Well I popped along for a few hours today, it was quite busy. The number of models on display seemed a little down on previous years unfortunately. I also heard a few traders complaining about the cost of the stalls this year, 1500 quid including vat for little more that a 7 foot square stand!!!! eeeeek! I hope that they can afford to keep returning each year!!!! I got a few pics, although they are not up to much I'm affraid due to poor lighting conditions, but here they are anyway! ;D mikesolloway.fotopic.net/

All,
They were complaining last year about the cost of a pitch on the first day and worrying. By the last day they seemed a bit a happier. Trouble is, that 1500 quid has to come from somewhere and you guessed it.
Brian, see you there. You should be able to pick me out on the Cheltenham Stand. I'll be between to old guys.

Dinmoremanor - the pictures look great, despite the "poor lightig conditions". I wish I could get to see them in the flesh, as it were. At the risk of being just a little bit pedantic, that's a J39, not a J79 - and doesn't it look superb?
