Almost too good to get dirty by steaming the loco! Agreed! I was going to keep the Stirling as my runner, but it is just too pretty to mess up on our Club track, and it will go to auction very soon! John

It's an absolute jewel John and personally I could not bare to part with it having put so much effort into creating such a superb model.

Thanks Jim for the compliment. I'm not sentimental over my models: I enjoy building them and then what do I do with them? I'll put the cash towards a bolt hole in Spain! John

Damm this virus--------I'd have liked to have seen that at exhibition before you sell....no matter. I'll gladly add my admiration along with the others....
PS}--- that track turned out to be spot-on compared to the earlier PNP offering, didn't it ??

I offered my pics for their use but there was no response. John

John How about a pikky of the complete engine on the display track. Now what are you going to next? One suggestion would be to help Midland finish the Aspinall. I am sure he would then allow you to drive. This allows you to build another loco you do not want to ruin the paint job on๐

This allows you to build another loco you do not want to ruin the paint job on๐ I would do just that but I'm waiting for a big strong person to come round and help me carry the loco into the conservatory! Next Project? I have all the castings for a Stuart Major beam engine, all the laser cut bits for Derek Hugger's hummingbird kinetic sculpture, and a caravan to restore. I do not have the time, inclination or left over energy to paint or drive any loco... John

Hi John, the tender looks amazing and the paintwork is superb. I wonder if you could find time to give us a quick note on the two pack paint you use and how you spray it.
