I can assure you the copyright police will turn a blind eye! ;D Oh dear - could I be set upon by the copyright police for suggesting such a thing?

COSME will have a stand and I am looking forward to my first visit. My XYL will be with me, We visited the Beeches yesterday and she looked bored stiff for most of the day.

Chris, I have worked out what COSME is, but can only think XYL is Ex Young Lady, which does not fit that well unless you are taking her to these places to make it happen!

XYL is indeed, ex-young-lady, and is a standard amateur radio term, from the days when everything was in Morse code. (Oh, did anyone notice that the Google home page was in Morse yesterday, to commemorate his birthday?)

I did notice that yesterday. I did not know the significance. My mother was a WREN during the war at a signal station here so heard a few stories about morse code.

I thought it was excellent young lady or even exciting young lady or perhaps in anticipation of going to the show at Harrogate, excited young lady followed perhaps by exit young lady.

I wouldn't be surprised if the WHO cancel Harrowgate because of their flu "pandemic" - duh, pandemic - not even a teacupdemic yet. With a world population of 5 billion, so far there are less than 150 cases with a massive 8 deaths - normal flu kills far more than that every year in the UK! It does just make me wonder what this distraction therapy is supposed to take our minds off - must be something much more important. No doubt when it fizzles out, the WHO will praise everyone for following their advice and preventing the pandemic! DJ

I was at Harrogate yesterday [ Friday ] for 3 hours, got lots of bits of heavy metal etc. I noticed quite a few 'Britannia's ' completed and incomplete, would these be Winson/Modelworks ?. and quite a few locos that I hadn't seen before. Duke of Gloucester in 2 different scales. No badges spotted tho, had they all blown away ?
Ian.
